Kapucinski Trg 1, 4220 Škofja Loka 0 Reviews
Capuchin Bridge or the Stone Bridge leading from the Capuchin monastery to the old town center is one of the symbols of the town.
Built in the mid-14th century from carved stone in a semi-circular shape, is the only one of its kind in central Europe.
In the middle of it, there is a statue of St. John the Nepomuk, with the Škofja Loka coat of arms on the pedestal.
This bridge is one the most photographed tourist attractions in Slovenia. Unfortunately you will not find Sharon Stone anywhere near it.
To capture the bridge in its full photogenic glory you should go to the foot bridge leading to the main square from the bus station and look west.
Enjoy the view!
