TAVERNA PETRA

Taverna Petra is located just on the edge of Gorenja Vas in Poljanska valley.

They offer a wide variety of freshly prepared specialties, a superb selection of traditional Slovenian country dishes as well as fresh water fish and seafood.

It is very much a local pub with simple pine decor and you could well be sharing the restaurant with locals playing cards.

Don’t let that put you off because the food is very good indeed and the service is excellent – so well worth a visit if you are in Poljanska valley or just traveling to Primorska region.

During the week you can stop until midnight and in the weekends till 3 in the morning.
