Mayor of Škofja Loka, Tine Radinja

He was born on may 11, 1980. He is a partner, a father of two, and is living in Škofja Loka all his life. He studied philosophy in Ljubljana and Prague, graduated from the University of Ljubljana, was the president of the European Youth Forum in Brussels before returning to Škofja Loka, and worked for the World Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

He is professionally engaged in education and consulting for organizations and companies. Eight years he served as Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Škofja Loka, leading the field of social activities and taking care of development of education, sports, culture and social programs. He was in charge of preparing the Škofja Loka 2025+ strategy, which is now the basic document for development of the municipality. He is strongly involved in the activities of many societies. He is a triathlete, a running enthusiast, and chairman of “4 Bridges Run” organizing committee.
